The Yukon Nominee Program (YNP) is adopting a new intake-based system starting in 2025, where a fixed number of applications will be accepted in each intake. Once the application cap is reached, no further applications will be accepted until the next intake.
The first intake for 2025 will open on January 29, with a maximum of 125 applications being accepted for nominations to the YNP.
Future intakes will likely occur quarterly, although the exact schedule has not yet been confirmed. The YNP plans to adjust the size and frequency of future intakes based on the allocation of nominations received from the Canadian federal government. Yukon has requested an increase in nomination allocations for 2025.
